Pets and Plants

What to do with pets and plants while on the road?  It is easier to say what can’t be done, and that is to take any pets or plants with you.  Many countries have strict entry requirements for flora and fauna, and lengthy quarantine times, sometimes a month or more, are common before a pet or plant can join you in a given country.

The best option is to find a trusted friend or relative who is willing to care for your pets and plants.   And, in this day of digital photography, if that person is kind enough to email an occasional photo of your pooch or kitten, it will be sure to bring a smile to your face while you are on the road.
