Returning Home

Welcome home!  You may or may not recognize the place you call home when you return from your RTW journey, particularly if your trip was a long one.  You may ask yourself, “What happened to the corner store where I used to get my daily milk?” or “When was the vast open field, which used to be right outside my bedroom window, replaced by a hamburger joint?”

This section of GoRoundTheWorld.com addresses the feelings you may encounter upon returning to a “changed” home and how to address them.  It also discusses more pragmatic issues:

Reestablishing Routines and Relationships

Your New-Found Wisdom

Your Physical Health

Cultural Differences in How RTW Trips Are Viewed

Ways To Sell Yourself Back into The Workforce

New Opportunities

Final Remarks

No matter how much things at home may seem to have changed, rest assured that the new will become familiar once again.
