GoRoundTheWorld.com is a website devoted to the Round-The-World traveler; specifically, the RTW traveler planning his or her first trip. It contains advice and information that such a traveler can use before, during, and after his or her journey.

This website is dedicated to and has been designed for:

- Those who may be contemplating a break of one month to a year from their careers.

- Those who are contemplating or who have embarked on extended intercontinental travel.

- Those who do not have an unlimited budget.

- Those who prefer independent travel over group travel to the extent possible.

- Those who are contemplating their first RTW trip.

For those with an interest in RTW travel but who are as yet undecided about whether they can afford such a trip or whether they have the skills necessary to complete one, this website covers the surprisingly low cost of such trips and briefly touches on some of the issues which may help one to make such a decision.

For those who decide to go for it (and I hope everyone who considers such a trip does in fact take one), this site will show how to plan and execute that first “trip of a lifetime.” The site covers how to properly develop an itinerary, how to plan a trip within any budget constraint, how RTW airline tickets work, and all other important details which need to be considered before initial departure. Such details include arranging for visas, immunizations, driving permits, and otherwise getting one’s affairs in order to facilitate an enjoyable and worry-free trip overseas.

After that, advice about packing is covered, followed by important tips and things to keep in mind during one’s actual travels.

Within this site you will find information not only to help you plan and execute your trip, but also to help you readjust to your home environment upon your return and to reestablish yourself in your career.
